AMS-12 indoor metal-enclosed A.C. switchgear is a medium-voltage central switch cabinet developed by Xiamen Huadian Switchgear Co., Ltd. under the leadership of senior medium-voltage switchgear experts ofChinaandGermany. It has reached advanced world standard and passed full set of type tests ofNationalCenterfor Quality Monitoring of High-voltage Electrical Apparatus and Germany IPH Test Station.

To meet the latest customer demands, Xiamen Huadian, together with switchgear experts ofChinaandGermany, has developed intelligent medium-voltage central switchgear. It integrates advanced design concept to employ the latest sensor and computer technology, thus, in addition to conventional functions, realizing online detection of running status of switch cabinet and breaker, to monitor the equipment conditions in real time, detect incipient faults in advance, and satisfy customer demands for overhaul and maintenance. Therefore, it is more reliable in power supply and costly for overhaul and maintenance.

Conventional type: AMS-12

■ AMS-12 switch cabinet is small-sized armored air-insulation switchgear and can effectively save space.

■ AMS-12 switch cabinet has central design and is equipped with VEP-12 indoor medium-voltage fixed and enclosed vacuum circuit breaker.

■ AMS-12 switch cabinet possesses sufficient space for cable connection.

■ AMS-12 switch cabinet is equipped with earth switch that possesses short-circuit making capacity and quick closing function.

 

Motor-operated type: AMS-12-M

■ The circuit breaker and earth switch of AMS-12-M switch cabinet are equipped with motor-operated device and can realize unattended transformer substation. The motor-operated device possesses electric machinery overload protection function and extended functions including hand operation precedence and closing interlock, and operates steadily and reliably.

 

Intelligent type: AMS-12-I

■ AMS-12-I switch cabinet is equipped with intelligent circuit breaker and combined electronic current-voltage transformer and realizes online status monitoring.

■ AMS-12-I switch cabinet is equipped with AP332 comprehensive intelligent unit and can comprehensively realize multiple functions such as measurement, monitoring, control, protection, communication and status detection. The communication agreement supports IEC61850 and satisfies communication standards of intelligent transformer substation.

■ AMS-12-I can realize programmed control as well as switch between power cut, power supply, overhaul and maintenance and standby status, thus improving reliability and operative efficiency.

■ AMS-12-I switch cabinet is equipped with infrared temperature sensor and can realize online monitoring of inlet and outlet bus temperature.

■ AMS-12-I switch cabinet is equipped with temperature & humidity sensor and can realize online monitoring of cabinet temperature and humidity

■ AMS-12-I switch cabinet possesses the function of arc protection and can realize quick failure isolation to save operating personnel's life and guarantee safety of the equipment.

Note: * When rated current is4000A, forced air cooling is required.
