Originated in Germany, VEP-12 indoor medium-voltage enclosed vacuum circuit breaker is the first complete series of medium-voltage enclosed vacuum breaker around the globe jointly developed by R&D team under the leadership of senior vacuum breaker experts of China and Germany. To meet the demand of grid and industrial mine enterprise users for automatic operation and condition overhaul of the breaker, Xiamen Huadian has separately developed VEP motor-operated breaker and VEP intelligent breaker based on VEP medium-voltage vacuum breaker, which have been put into domestic and overseas market; they improve automatic level of the breaker and realize condition overhaul, thus largely reducing breaker maintenance work for users and saving maintenance cost.
Conventional type: VEP-12
■ VEP-12 circuit breaker is the third generation of indoor medium-voltage enclosed vacuum circuit breaker with the most complete series of product specification in the world at present.
■ Enclosed electrode pole of VEP-12 circuit breaker seals vacuum arc extinguish chamber of ultra low resistance and dominant electric parts of primary circuit in epoxy resin, suitable for hostile work environment.
■ Application of buffer layer in enclosed electrode pole of VEP-12 circuit breaker assures its operation reliability in all kinds of operating environment.
■ Solid insulation of enclosed electrode pole of VEP-12 circuit breaker substitutes requirement of SF6 as external insulation to a certain extent, more environment friendly.
■ Application of vacuum arc extinguish chamber of ultra low resistance in VEP-12 circuit breaker fundamentally satisfies the demand of large current VEP-12 for temperature rise and reduces the loss of electric energy.
■ Adoption of modular spring actuating mechanism in VEP-12 circuit breaker renders high reliability and convenient maintenance.
Motor-operated type: VEP-24-M
■ Remote control of motor-operated chassis vehicle through SCADA system of substation, automatic roll-in-and-out of circuit breaker and unattended substation are realized in VEP-12 circuit breaker.
Intelligent type: VEP-12-I
■VEP-12 circuit breaker is equipped with coil current sensor, available for online monitoring on wave form of closing and opening coil in circuit breaker
■VEP-12 circuit breaker is equipped with motor circuit current sensor, available for online monitoring on wave form of circuit current of energy-stored motor and motor-operated chassis vehicle in circuit breaker
■VEP-12 circuit breaker is equipped with operation circuit voltage sensor, available for online monitoring on operation voltage value of operation circuit in circuit breaker
■VEP-12 circuit breaker is equipped with angular displacement sensor, available for online monitoring on position-time behavior of closing and opening circuit breaker
■VEP-12 circuit breaker is equipped with spring tension sensor, available for online monitoring on spring tension property of closing circuit breaker
